What is a Hex code?

A Hex code is a six-digit number, prefixed by a hash tag symbol # and is used to identify colours on a computer.

To match to a specific colour you could use a tool such as https://html-color-codes.info/colors-from-image/ and upload an image containing the desired colour, such as a logo. This tool will then assist to provide the correct Hex number in step 4.
