In the CRM you can nominate the payment terms against a customer, supplier or prospect. 


This article will outline how to change the default payment term settings, then how to set payment terms against a customer record in the CRM.


Adding New Payment Terms

A user with Administrator access will be able to change the default payment term settings by following the steps below;


1. Click the Settings cog (top right corner), then select ePrint MIS.



The window is arranged with a navigation pane on the left-hand side of the screen.


2. Click Appearance, CRM, then Payment Terms.


 


3. Click Add New Record.



4. Enter in the following items;

  • Payment Name (1) - Can be a combination of Text and numbers, this is visible when viewing a customer/supplier record in the CRM.
  • Payment Days (2) - Enter a number only for the number of payment days.
  • Default (3) - If this is to be the default payment terms for the system click the tick box.



5. Click Save.


Deleting Payment Terms


Payment Terms can only be deleted in the system settings by a system administrator.


1. Click the Settings cog (top right corner), then select ePrint MIS.



The window is arranged with a navigation pane on the left-hand side of the screen.


2. Click Appearance, CRM, then Payment Terms.



3. Click the Red Cross next to the payment terms to be deleted. select ePrint MIS.



4. A prompt will appear for confirmation, click OK.



Setting Payment Terms in a CRM record


The payment terms can be set when adding a new record or when editing an existing record for customers, suppliers or prospects. In the instructions below a customer is used as the example.


1. Click CRM, then select View All.


2. Open a customer record and click Edit (top right corner). 

Note: If adding a new customer this is the first screen you will see.



3. Click the drop-down against Payment Terms to make a selection.

Note: You cannot add Payment terms in this screen, they must be added to system defaults first as described above.


 

4. Click Save.
