Prior to going live with the system you will likely want to set the numbering across the system.

When determining your numbering please consider;

1. If you would like the number to begin at 1000, then you would enter the starting value of 999

2. Once you have saved the numbering setting you cannot edit it, the numbering setting has a Save & Lock feature.

This knowledge base will outline the steps to set your system numbering.

1. Click the Settings cog (top right corner), then select ePrint MIS.

The window is arranged with a navigation pane on the left-hand side of the screen.

2. Click General, then select Numbering.

3. The numbering options will display;

The options available are;

* Auto - this will maintain the current numbering system. Please note that you may have been testing the system and your test estimates, jobs etc will simply continue from the last test item.

* Custom - the custom option provides 2 sub-options;

  • Set this as starting value for the Estimates, Jobs, Purchases, Invoices and Delivery - using this option all modules will begin with the same number.
  • Set the starting value for Individuals - using this option you can set a number according to each module, therefore you may like your Estimates to begin with 1000, Jobs at 2000 and so on.

4. Complete the steps according to your preference;

a) If selecting Auto, then just click Save & Lock.

OR

b) Click Custom, then select Set this as starting value for the Estimates, Jobs, Purchases, Invoices and Delivery

Then enter the value you would like to begin e.g. 4999 (this will mean your values will begin at 5000), then click Save & Lock.

OR

c) Click Custom, then select Set the starting value for Individuals

Then enter the value for each module that you would like to begin (example below), then click Save & Lock.

NOTE: Please ensure you set the numbering for each module indicated, otherwise if you only set the numbering for estimates the remaining modules will start from 1.

Note: If you click Save & Lock in error, or change your mind you will need to send a request to Support for this to be unlocked.
