To enable customers to pay invoices through Stripe, you'll need to set up a Stripe account and add your Stripe Secret Key to Hexicom. Here's how you can do it, along with visual guides.


Step 1: Create a Stripe Account and Retrieve Your Secret Key

  1. Sign Up for Stripe:

    • Visit Stripe and create an account.

    • Complete the required business and banking information.



  2. Retrieve Your Secret Key:

    • After logging into your Stripe account, go to the Developers section using the menu.


    • Under API Keys, you’ll see two keys: the Publishable Key and the Secret Key. Click Reveal live key next to the Secret Key and copy it.

Step 2: Add Your Stripe Secret Key in Hexicom

  1. Log in to your Hexicom system.

  2. Access Stripe Settings in Hexicom:

    • Click the Settings Wheel (⚙️) in the top right-hand corner of your Hexicom dashboard.

    • Choose ePrint MIS, and from the left-hand menu, click on Stripe.

  3. Enter Your Stripe Secret Key:

    • Paste the Stripe Secret Key you copied earlier into the Stripe Secret Key field.

    • Click Save to finalize the integration.


What Happens Next?


Once the Stripe Secret Key is set up in Hexicom, the system will automatically generate a payment link that can be added to the following areas:


  • Invoice Emails: Customers can see a payment link if placed on the invoice email.



  • Invoice PDF: The payment link can also be placed on the PDF version of the invoice.



By clicking the payment link, customers will be redirected to a secure Stripe payment page where they can make payments directly online.


Important Notes:

  • Ensure your Stripe account is set to live mode, not test mode, before adding it to Hexicom.

  • Test the integration by generating an invoice for yourself and confirming that the payment link works correctly.

Once set up, this feature allows your customers to make easy and secure payments directly through Stripe, streamlining your billing process.
