Hexicom now supports a Highlight Colour feature for statuses, allowing users to visually distinguish between different statuses with assigned colours across various list views and drop down menus. Here's how you can set up and use this feature:


Assign Colour to a Status

  1. Navigate to Status Settings:

    • Go to the relevant Status page in your system (Estimates, Jobs, Invoices, etc.).

  2. Highlight Colour Dropdown:

    • In the status settings, you'll find a drop down menu labeled Highlight Colour.
    • Choose from the available colours or select None if no colour is required.

      Available Colours:
    • Bright Green (#01DA66)
    • Light Red (#E64557)
    • Vibrant Turquoise (#40BDDB)
    • Soft Purple (#C57BE2)
    • Coral Orange (#F97B57)
    • Cool Gray (#888888)
    • Bright Yellow (#FFD700)


Display Colour on Status Settings Screen

  1. Colour Indication in Status Grid:

    • A new column, Highlight Colour, has been added for the Status. It is positioned as the second column in the grid on the status settings screen.
    • If a status has a colour assigned, it will display the selected colour in this column.

  2. Editing Colours:

    • You can easily edit the colour assignment directly from this grid.


Display Colours Across All List Views with Statuses

  1. List View Updates:

    • Colours assigned to statuses are now visible across the following grids:
      • Estimates
      • Jobs
      • Invoices
      • Orders
      • Proofs
      • Delivery Notes
      • Purchases
    • Similar to the Proof File Status, the status colours overwrite any other grid view colours for better visibility.
  2. Status Dropdown Highlight:

    • The dropdown menus within the respective lists now display the assigned colours for quick reference.
