Capitalization rules for text fields ensure consistency and maintain the desired formatting across your editable products. Here’s how you can set up and apply different capitalization rules: 





  1. Navigate to the “Setup Template” Page

    • Go to the “Setup Template” page of your editable product.


    • Click on the “Font” tab to access font settings.


  2. “Capitalization” Section

    • Locate the “Capitalization” section within the Font tab. This section provides various options to control the capitalization of text input by users.

  3. Capitalization Options

    • As per user input

      • Description: Text will appear exactly as the user enters it, without any automatic changes to capitalization.
      • Usage: Use this option if you want to preserve the original input provided by the user.

    • All upper case

      • Description: Converts all text to uppercase, regardless of how the user enters it.
      • Usage: Select this option if you need the text to be in all caps, such as for headings or emphasis.

    • First word first letter caps - do not allow other caps

      • Description: Only the first letter of the first word will be capitalized. All other letters will be in lowercase, regardless of user input.
      • Usage: Choose this option for sentence case formatting where only the first word is capitalized.

    • First word first letter caps - allow other caps

      • Description: The first letter of the first word will be capitalized. Users can capitalize other letters as needed.
      • Usage: Use this option if you want the first word capitalized but still allow user input to include other capital letters.

    • All word first letter caps - do not allow other caps

      • Description: The first letter of each word will be capitalized. All other letters will be in lowercase.
      • Usage: Select this for title case formatting where each word starts with a capital letter.

    • All word first letter caps - allow other caps

      • Description: The first letter of each word will be capitalized. Users can capitalize other letters within words as needed.
      • Usage: Choose this option for a mix of title case and user-specific capitalization within words.

    • All lower case

      • Description: Converts all text to lowercase, regardless of how the user enters it.
      • Usage: Use this option if you want all text to appear in lowercase.
