Depending on your preferred browser you may find that some windows do not open due to pop-ups being blocked.
Pop-ups are small windows that 'pop up' when you visit a web-page, they are often used by advertisers and therefore by default browser have in-built settings that can determine which websites to allow pop-ups on.
The instructions will depend on the browser you are currently using, locate the steps according to the instructions provided for each browser in the table below.
Chrome | 1. In the Chrome browser, login to your Hexicom software account, and Copy the web address from the Chrome address bar. 2. Click the three (3) dots (top right corner). 2. Click Settings, then scroll to the bottom and select Advanced. 3. Under the heading Privacy and Security, click Content Settings. 4. Locate Pop-ups and Redirects, under Allow, click Add. 5. Paste the link (as copied from Step 1) into the dialog box provided, then close the browser Settings tab. |
Firefox | 1. Open the Firefox browser, then login to your Hexicom Software account, and Copy the web address from the Firefox address bar. 2. Click the "hamburger" menu (three lines in top right corner). 3. Click Options. 4. Click the Content icon located at the top of the window. 5. Ensure that Block pop-up windows is ticked (checkbox). 6. Click the Exceptions button (located to the right of Block pop-up windows), the Allowed Sites dialog box will be displayed. 7. Paste the link (as copied from Step 1) into the dialog box provided, then click Allow. |
Safari | 1. Click the Safari menu, (top left corner), then select Preferences. 2. Select Security from the links provided. 3. If Pop-Up Windows is ticked, click on the option to ensure it is NOT ticked. |
