A System Template is available for all the PDF generated documents including, Estimates, Supplier RFQ's, Jobs, Invoices, Purchase Orders and Delivery Notes.
It is recommended if edits to an existing template are required or a new template is to be created, that a copy of an existing template is made, then it can be revised without affecting the day to day use of the system.
This article will outline how to copy an estimate system template.
1. Click the Settings cog (top right corner), then select ePrint MIS.
The window is arranged with a navigation pane on the left-hand side of the screen.
2. Click System Templates, then select the template category Estimates.
3. Under Action locate and click the Copy button (double-paper icon), to the right of the template to be copied.
The template window will open and options will be visible at the base of the template editing window.
4. Under Layout name, type a new name for the template.
Note: Entering a Description to alert users to the new template is also recommended, this may be the date the template is to be used from.
5. Locate the Copy Template To Option, then click the tick box against the system template category name where the template is to filed.
Note: In this example the Estimates tick box is selected as it will be a new estimate.
6. Click Save & Stay, then edit the template as desired.
