Replenishing stock orders can be done by creating a job and associated PO, then receiving the stock.
This article outlines the scenarios of creating an Replenishment Job and the outcomes when doing this process
Workflow 1 - Create a stock replenishment job and add the stock from the PO.
1. Create a New job (not an estimate) and select a stock product.

2. When prompted enter the Quantity to order, ensure there is a tick in the tick-box in Replenish Order

3. Use the Quick Links panel to add a Purchase Order to the job,
4. Ensure there is a tick in the Purchase Order dialog box against Replenishment.
Note: - In the product history the only information will be in the PO view of the stock, where the PO will be listed.

4. When the goods are received open the Purchase Order, tick the option to indicate goods are received, then click Save and Stay.

5. The replenishment pop-up will be displayed, add the quantity of stock received and click Save.

Note: The product history will now show the stock replenishment and the PO will no longer appear when clicking the link in the dialog box View PO.
Workflow 2 - Create a stock reduction job, but add a stock replenishment PO to it
1. Create a New job (not estimate) and select a stock product,
2. DO NOT tick Replenish Order.
Note: In the product history the stock allocation is shown and also in the view allocations view of the stock pop up.
3. Open the job and create the Purchase Order, ensure there is a tick in the box for replenishment.

4. Open the Purchase order and receive the stock in by ticking goods received and saving and in the product stock history the replenishment is recorded.

Risk is the customer will stock here - and they will have a stock allocation in the product that never gets cleared.
Go into the job and change the status to the status that triggers the stock reduction and the stock is reduced and history of that is recorded.

Workflow 3 - Create a replenishment job but not a replenishment PO
Note: This would most likely be done in error
1. Create a New job, ensure there is a tick in the tick-box for replenishment.

2. Create a Purchase Order but DO NOT tick the replenishment option.

3. Open the Purchase Order, tick Receive stock in the PO and the stock replenishment pop up will be displayed
Note: Even though the tick replenishment was not selected when the PO was created, the replenishment dialog is still displayed.

4. Add the quantity of stock and save, it is recorded in the history.

Note: This workflow has the same outcome as workflow 1 above.
Therefore if the user forgets to tick replenishment in the PO the system still assume it is a replenishment PO.
